The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Business and Economics Teacher to join a school committed to delivering world-class education. This role will involve teaching across IB-MYP, IB-DP, and American Common Core Standards with Advance Placement, making a meaningful impact on student learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with IB-MYP, IB-DP, and American Common Core Standards with Advance Placement.
- Integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning to enhance student engagement and outcomes.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports students with diverse learning needs, including SEND and EAL.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and curricula.
- Provide individualized support and feedback to students to promote academic growth and achievement.
- Participate actively in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s academic programs.
- Engage in extracurricular activities and contribute to the school’s holistic educational mission.
- Support the school’s commitment to community service and student leadership initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Economics.
- Proven commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
- Excellent technology integration skills.
- Experience with IB-MYP, IB-DP, and American Common Core Standards with Advance Placement.
Preferred
- A Master’s Degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at high-performing international schools.
- Demonstrable experience in Inclusion, SEND, or EAL support.
- Additional relevant professional qualifications or a strong CPD portfolio.
