The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a dedicated Business and Economics Teacher to join its academic faculty. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Business and Economics curriculum from Early Years to Year 13, including IGCSE and A Level courses.
  • Contribute to a dynamic co-curricular programme, including sports, trips, and expeditions.
  • Support students through mentorship and pastoral care, including weekly PSHE lessons and daily mentor group meetings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a high-quality, inclusive education.
  • Participate in whole-school initiatives, including annual expeditions and community service activities.
  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Engage in professional development and contribute to school-wide goals and strategies.
  • Support the school’s mission of excellence and kindness through teaching and leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Business and Economics at all levels.
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
  • Commitment to student welfare and pastoral care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to participate in co-curricular and pastoral activities.

Preferred

  • Experience with IGCSE and A Level curriculum.
  • Background in co-curricular sports or activities.
  • Experience in mentorship or pastoral support.
  • Fluency in additional languages.
  • Familiarity with British International Schools or similar educational environments.
