The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Business and Economics to students following the English National Curriculum and IGCSE/IAL qualifications.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that promote critical thinking and independent learning.
  • Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal growth.
  • Prepare and assess students' work in line with school policies and examination board requirements.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school's teaching and learning strategies.
  • Support the school's mission to inspire, challenge, and encourage students to reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective teaching team.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree.
  • PGCE or PGDE and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Experience teaching up to KS5 level.

Preferred

  • KS5 teaching experience.
  • Experience with the English National Curriculum and IGCSE/IAL qualifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and student welfare.
