Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Business and/or Economics at A Level to a high standard, ensuring students achieve excellent results.
  • Contribute to the co-curricular and pastoral life of the school, supporting student development beyond the classroom.
  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the curriculum.
  • Support students through pastoral care and mentorship, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training to enhance teaching practice.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the school to ensure a cohesive and supportive academic community.
  • Maintain accurate records and assessments of student progress.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant qualification or experience in teaching Business and/or Economics at A Level.
  • A commitment to student welfare and a willingness to contribute to the co-curricular and pastoral life of the school.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively within a team and take on responsibilities beyond the classroom.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching at A Level or equivalent.
  • A background in education or training.
  • Experience with continuous professional development and staff training.
  • An interest in co-curricular activities and pastoral care.
