The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and motivated Business Management Teacher to join its academic team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, family-like environment and is committed to delivering high-quality education aligned with the IB curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Business Management and Economics, ensuring differentiation and student-centered learning
  • Collaborate with the academic team to develop and deliver a rigorous IB MYP and DP/CP curriculum
  • Create inquiry-based classrooms that promote critical thinking, knowledge, and skills
  • Select and utilize relevant resources and digital tools to enhance learning outcomes
  • Design and implement meaningful assessment tasks with timely and constructive feedback
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate actively in school events, parent meetings, and professional development
  • Contribute to the after-school and boarding program by sharing relevant skills and talents

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree and teaching qualification that meets Austrian requirements for teaching Business Management and Economics
  • Strong subject and pedagogical expertise in Business Management and Economics
  • Solid understanding of the IB Philosophy
  • Alignment with the school’s values and definition of Educational Distinction

Preferred

  • Previous experience teaching the IB MYP, CP, and DP
  • Experience with the BTEC Curriculum
  • Master’s Degree
  • Ability to teach additional subjects
  • IB training Category 1 or 2
  • Familiarity with digital tools and school-based information management systems (iSams, Toddle)
