The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Set and mark regular assignments in line with school policy, providing constructive feedback.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
- Contribute to the development of schemes of work and departmental policies.
- Support the pastoral care of students, ensuring their wellbeing and safety.
- Participate in extra-curricular activities, including school events and community engagement.
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to the school’s overall mission and values.
- Uphold the school’s Behavioural Charter, promoting honesty, integrity, and respect.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge.
- Experience teaching Business Studies and Economics at GCSE and A Level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and pastoral care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience with Edexcel and AQA curricula.
- Involvement in extra-curricular activities or leadership roles.
- Familiarity with national educational initiatives and best practices.
- Experience in tutor responsibilities or pastoral support.
