The Opportunity:

Join a forward-thinking curriculum team as a Business Studies Teacher 0.6 FTE. You will deliver high-quality teaching across GCSE and A-Level Business Studies, helping students develop analytical, entrepreneurial, and real-world business skills. This role is ideal for someone passionate about inspiring young people and contributing to a growing and vibrant school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Business Studies at both GCSE and A-Level.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and enrichment opportunities that deepen students' understanding of business and finance.
  • Foster positive relationships with students and colleagues, maintaining high expectations and a purposeful learning environment.
  • Support the development of students' analytical, entrepreneurial, and real-world business skills.
  • Collaborate with the faculty to ensure the curriculum reflects the school's values of ambition, kindness, and community.
  • Participate in professional development and staff training initiatives.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Business Studies.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies and Economics.
  • Commitment to excellent teaching and student achievement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the school's mission and values.
  • Experience in delivering both GCSE and A-Level Business Studies.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching A-Level Economics.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
  • Experience in providing enrichment opportunities for students.
  • Experience with professional development and staff training.
  • Experience in a school environment with a focus on inclusion and community.
