Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a curriculum that supports student progression and academic success.
  • Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Support student well-being and personal development through pastoral care and mentorship.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in Business Studies to ensure teaching remains relevant and current.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Business Studies.
  • Experience in teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4, ideally with GCSE qualifications.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student well-being.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching Business Studies at A Level.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and resources for teaching and learning.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support.
  • Leadership experience or a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
