Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons that engage and inspire students.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student achievement and progress.
- Support students with SEMH needs through a structured and empathetic approach.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student performance regularly to ensure continuous improvement.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and behavior.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral support.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience in delivering Quality First Teaching
- Understanding of behavior management and strategies for supporting students with SEMH needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated resilience and the ability to work in a challenging and supportive environment
Preferred
- Experience teaching an additional subject
- Experience working in alternative provision or specialist educational settings
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies
