The Opportunity:

As a Business Studies Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping students’ understanding of enterprise and economics. You will teach up to A Level, delivering engaging lessons that foster analytical thinking, commercial awareness, and resilience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Business Studies up to A Level, using contemporary case studies and innovative approaches.
  • Develop and deliver a dynamic curriculum that challenges and supports students.
  • Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental practices and student outcomes.
  • Support students in preparing for assessments and exams.
  • Engage in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of the department.
  • Encourage extracurricular involvement in Business Studies-related activities.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge.
  • Experience teaching Business Studies up to A Level.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student achievement and personal development.
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging and challenging lessons.

Preferred

  • Experience with real-world enterprise and economic case studies.
  • Background in innovative teaching methods or curriculum development.
  • Experience in a school with a strong academic and pastoral focus.
