The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Business Studies and BTEC teacher to join a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact on students' academic and personal development. This role offers the chance to shape young minds and contribute to a school that values innovation, care, and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Business Studies and BTEC courses to secondary and post-16 students.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the English National Curriculum and vocational assessment requirements.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
  • Support students in preparing for A-levels, the Spanish Baccalaureate, and BTEC qualifications.
  • Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and senior leadership.
  • Participate in school events and contribute to the overall ethos and mission of the institution.
  • Stay up to date with developments in the Business Studies and BTEC sectors to ensure teaching remains relevant and effective.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree in Business Studies or a related subject.
  • Teaching qualification (QTS/PGCE or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching Business and/or BTEC courses at secondary or post-16 level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of vocational assessment requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • C2 level of English.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an international or British curriculum school.
  • Familiarity with the Spanish education system or bilingual teaching experience.
  • Demonstrated success in student engagement and academic achievement.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
