The Opportunity:
A Business Studies Teacher is needed to deliver high-quality education at Key Stage 4 and 5, including IGCSE and A Level. This role offers the chance to shape student learning, contribute to co-curricular activities, and lead in the school’s entrepreneurship initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Business Studies at Key Stage 4 and 5, including IGCSE and A Level.
- Contribute to the co-curricular programme and support student development outside the classroom.
- Act as a form tutor and provide pastoral care to students.
- Promote Business Studies across the school and participate in entrepreneurship initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver an innovative and engaging curriculum.
- Support the school’s mission and values through effective teaching and leadership.
- Deliver lessons that reflect the school’s commitment to high academic standards and student achievement.
- Engage in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Recognised teaching qualification and proven experience in a UK or international school.
- Proven ability to teach Business Studies at Key Stage 4 and 5.
- Strong commitment to pastoral care and student well-being.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
- High standards of conduct and confidentiality.
Preferred
- Experience teaching additional subjects.
- Experience with virtual teaching platforms.
- Leadership experience, such as Head of Year or departmental leadership.
- Experience with entrepreneurship or business-related extracurricular activities.
- Familiarity with the British Curriculum and international education standards.
