The Opportunity:

A Business Studies Teacher is needed to deliver high-quality education at Key Stage 4 and 5, including IGCSE and A Level. This role offers the chance to shape student learning, contribute to co-curricular activities, and lead in the school’s entrepreneurship initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Business Studies at Key Stage 4 and 5, including IGCSE and A Level.
  • Contribute to the co-curricular programme and support student development outside the classroom.
  • Act as a form tutor and provide pastoral care to students.
  • Promote Business Studies across the school and participate in entrepreneurship initiatives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver an innovative and engaging curriculum.
  • Support the school’s mission and values through effective teaching and leadership.
  • Deliver lessons that reflect the school’s commitment to high academic standards and student achievement.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Recognised teaching qualification and proven experience in a UK or international school.
  • Proven ability to teach Business Studies at Key Stage 4 and 5.
  • Strong commitment to pastoral care and student well-being.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
  • High standards of conduct and confidentiality.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching additional subjects.
  • Experience with virtual teaching platforms.
  • Leadership experience, such as Head of Year or departmental leadership.
  • Experience with entrepreneurship or business-related extracurricular activities.
  • Familiarity with the British Curriculum and international education standards.
