The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join our Secondary School team and contribute to the academic and personal growth of students. This role offers the chance to teach Cambridge IGCSE and A Level Business Studies, while also engaging in pastoral duties and extracurricular activities that support student development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Cambridge IGCSE and A Level Business Studies with a focus on student engagement and achievement.
  • Deliver high-quality, personalised learning experiences that promote critical thinking and real-world application.
  • Support students as a pastoral tutor, contributing to their overall well-being and development.
  • Actively participate in the school’s extracurricular programme, including events and competitions.
  • Contribute to the House system by supporting allocated House activities and events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practice and student outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Recognised teaching qualifications and relevant experience in Business Studies.
  • Proven ability to teach Cambridge IGCSE and A Level Business Studies.
  • Strong understanding of assessment, feedback, and personalised learning.
  • Commitment to student welfare and pastoral care.
  • Experience in a school environment with a focus on holistic development.

Preferred

  • Experience in a British international school or similar educational setting.
  • Familiarity with the House system and extracurricular programme.
  • Experience with leading or supporting academic faculty teams.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
