The Opportunity:
As a Business Support Officer, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding learning environment by providing exceptional support to pupils, teachers, and stakeholders. This is an opportunity to contribute to a school that is dedicated to academic excellence and leadership development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality administrative and business support to pupils, staff, and stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain school records, databases, and other essential systems efficiently.
- Coordinate and support the delivery of school events, meetings, and communications.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of administrative tasks, including correspondence and documentation.
- Support the school’s leadership and operational goals through effective organisational and technical skills.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions and responsibilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the school to ensure seamless support for all school functions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*-C.
- Proven experience in an administrative or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and databases.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of school operations and support functions.
- Experience with leadership or character development programmes.
- Experience with customer service in a professional environment.
