The Opportunity:

As a Business Support Officer, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding learning environment by providing exceptional support to pupils, teachers, and stakeholders. This is an opportunity to contribute to a school that is dedicated to academic excellence and leadership development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality administrative and business support to pupils, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain school records, databases, and other essential systems efficiently.
  • Coordinate and support the delivery of school events, meetings, and communications.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of administrative tasks, including correspondence and documentation.
  • Support the school’s leadership and operational goals through effective organisational and technical skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions and responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the school to ensure seamless support for all school functions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*-C.
  • Proven experience in an administrative or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and databases.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of school operations and support functions.
  • Experience with leadership or character development programmes.
  • Experience with customer service in a professional environment.
