This role offers the chance to teach Business Studies and other subjects to Year 12 and 13 students in a dynamic, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Business Studies and other subjects to Year 12 and 13 students
  • Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum and exam specifications
  • Support students in achieving excellent results through targeted teaching and revision strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes
  • Utilise modern teaching methods and technologies to enhance classroom learning
  • Contribute to the school’s mission of fostering independent, self-motivated learners
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to students to help them succeed academically and personally

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status with a degree or equivalent qualifications
  • Recent experience teaching students in KS5, with a proven track record in examination groups
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Business Studies and exam specifications
  • Ability to adapt to modern teaching methods and technologies, including online resources and video conferencing

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL)
  • Familiarity with international education systems and global learning approaches
  • Demonstrated success in creating a positive, engaging classroom environment
