Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Business lessons to students at GCSE level and beyond, ensuring alignment with the National Curriculum.
- Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that promote critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular projects and initiatives.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, including school events, community engagement, and leadership programs.
- Support the school’s mission by fostering a culture of mindfulness and inclusivity in the classroom and beyond.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in Business education.
- Work closely with parents and guardians to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A Bachelor of Education or a Bachelor’s degree with PGCE / PGDE (or equivalent qualification).
- Proven experience teaching Business to GCSE level.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching practice and a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on student learning and personal growth.
Preferred
- Experience with the National Curriculum for England or IGCSE qualifications.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technology in the classroom.
- Leadership experience or involvement in school-wide initiatives and extra-curricular activities.
- Fluency in additional languages, particularly Arabic or French.
