Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Business lessons to students at GCSE level and beyond, ensuring alignment with the National Curriculum.
  • Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that promote critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular projects and initiatives.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, including school events, community engagement, and leadership programs.
  • Support the school’s mission by fostering a culture of mindfulness and inclusivity in the classroom and beyond.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in Business education.
  • Work closely with parents and guardians to ensure a holistic approach to student development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Bachelor of Education or a Bachelor’s degree with PGCE / PGDE (or equivalent qualification).
  • Proven experience teaching Business to GCSE level.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching practice and a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on student learning and personal growth.

Preferred

  • Experience with the National Curriculum for England or IGCSE qualifications.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technology in the classroom.
  • Leadership experience or involvement in school-wide initiatives and extra-curricular activities.
  • Fluency in additional languages, particularly Arabic or French.
