Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Business lessons to students across a range of ability levels.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Support the school’s commitment to student progress and achievement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Social Sciences faculty.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, staff training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students as needed.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Business.
  • Experience in teaching at the secondary level (11-18).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.
  • Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching Business at GCSE and A Level.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching methods and technologies.
  • Experience with pastoral support and student engagement.
  • Previous involvement in extracurricular activities or leadership roles.
