Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Business Studies, including exam specifications.
  • Implement modern teaching methods and technologies such as video conferencing and online resources.
  • Support students in achieving strong examination results and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the school and globally through the OneSchool Global Teacher Academy.
  • Participate in professional development and ongoing training to enhance teaching practice.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in business studies education.
  • Contribute to the development of a school’s innovative pedagogy and self-directed learning framework.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree or similar qualifications in Business Studies or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Business Studies at KS5 level.
  • Demonstrable success in achieving strong examination results with students.
  • Ability to adapt traditional teaching methods to modern, technology-driven approaches.

Preferred

  • Experience with online teaching platforms and digital learning tools.
  • Familiarity with self-directed learning frameworks.
  • Experience in cross-cultural collaboration or international education settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
