Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for KS3-KS5 students.
  • Utilize modern teaching methods and technologies, including video conferencing and online resources.
  • Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages self-directed learning.
  • Collaborate with the national Business team to ensure consistent and effective delivery of lessons across the UK.
  • Support students in developing the skills and knowledge needed for future success.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
  • Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
  • Stay up to date with current trends and developments in Business Studies education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree or similar qualifications in Business Studies or a related field.
  • Recent experience teaching Business Studies to students in KS3-KS5.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Business Studies.
  • Ability to adapt traditional teaching methods to modern, technology-enhanced learning environments.

Preferred

  • Experience with online teaching platforms and video conferencing tools.
  • Familiarity with self-directed learning frameworks.
  • Experience in collaborative teaching environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
