Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in making informed decisions about their academic and career futures.
  • Deliver individual and group career guidance sessions tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other pastoral staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
  • Develop and implement career-related programs and activities across the school.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress and outcomes in relation to career development.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students during key transition points.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student engagement and outcomes.
  • Stay up to date with best practices in career guidance and education trends.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A recognised educational degree, such as a Bachelor's in Education or an equivalent qualification.
  • A certified teaching qualification such as a PGCE or QTS with an Early Career Teaching Certificate.
  • Extensive experience teaching the National Curriculum of England.
  • Proven experience in delivering career guidance and pastoral support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student well-being and personal development.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching IGCSE, AS/A Level and BTEC programmes.
  • Experience with career counseling or student support in an international school setting.
  • Knowledge of British and international education systems.
  • Experience with extracurricular activities and leadership programs.
