Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality careers education, information, advice, and guidance to students
- Support students in making informed decisions about their educational and career pathways
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including colleges, employers, and training providers
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of careers provision and make recommendations for improvement
- Work collaboratively with the careers team and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to student support
- Deliver careers-related workshops and events to students and parents
- Support students in accessing work experience, apprenticeships, and higher education opportunities
- Assist in the development and delivery of careers-related curriculum content
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant experience in careers guidance or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Understanding of career development theories and practices
Preferred
- Experience working in a school or educational setting
- Knowledge of the Level 6 Career Development Professional qualification
- Experience in supporting students with special educational needs or those from disadvantaged backgrounds
- Experience with careers guidance software or tools
