The Opportunity:
As a Careers Counselor, you will play a vital role in guiding students through their academic and career pathways. You will collaborate with the Student Futures and pastoral teams to develop and implement a comprehensive careers program. Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in making well-informed choices for their onward educational and career pathways.
- Collaborate with the Student Futures and pastoral teams to develop and implement a comprehensive careers program from Key Stage 3 onwards.
- Enhance families' understanding of onward pathways through targeted activities and events.
- Coordinate visits by careers speakers and university admissions representatives.
- Contribute to the development of the extracurricular program and take an active role as a tutor or support tutor within the pastoral system.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in supporting applications to the UK, Europe and the US.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting competitive university and career applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player.
Preferred
- Experience working in an international school or similar educational setting.
- Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate or equivalent curriculum.
- Experience in career development and guidance programs.
