The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated Casual Teacher to support lessons during staff absences. This role is ideal for those returning to teaching, transitioning from overseas, or seeking flexible work arrangements. As a Casual Teacher, you will play a key role in maintaining a high standard of education and student engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching and learning during staff absences by delivering engaging lessons.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning.
  • Adhere to the school’s policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements.
  • Provide feedback and support to students in line with the school’s academic and pastoral goals.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities as required.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to lesson planning and student records.
  • Contribute to the school’s culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A valid teaching qualification.
  • A passion for education and working with young people.
  • Experience in teaching or supporting students in a classroom setting.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a UK school or with the UK education system.
  • Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum.
  • Experience with flexible working arrangements or part-time roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
