The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated Casual Teacher to support lessons during staff absences. This role is ideal for those returning to teaching, transitioning from overseas, or seeking flexible work arrangements. As a Casual Teacher, you will play a key role in maintaining a high standard of education and student engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Support teaching and learning during staff absences by delivering engaging lessons.
Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning.
Adhere to the school’s policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements.
Provide feedback and support to students in line with the school’s academic and pastoral goals.
Participate in professional development opportunities as required.
Assist with administrative tasks related to lesson planning and student records.
Contribute to the school’s culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

A valid teaching qualification.
A passion for education and working with young people.
Experience in teaching or supporting students in a classroom setting.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

Experience working in a UK school or with the UK education system.
Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum.
Experience with flexible working arrangements or part-time roles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
