Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the school canteen to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Oversee food preparation and service, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
- Support and supervise students during meal times, promoting a positive and respectful environment
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and other teams to ensure consistent quality and service
- Maintain accurate records of stock, schedules, and food safety practices
- Assist with the training and development of support staff
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Adapt to changing demands and priorities throughout the day
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Previous experience in a catering or hospitality role
- Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to lead and manage a small team effectively
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
