The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Chemistry and Biology Teacher to join our successful secondary department. This is an exciting opportunity to teach motivated students within a high-performing British international school environment, delivering engaging lessons across KS3, iGCSE, and A Level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach KS3 Science across the full ability range
- Deliver iGCSE Science (preferably Chemistry or Biology)
- Teach A Level Chemistry or Biology
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the British curriculum
- Monitor, assess and report on student progress
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and support enrichment opportunities
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience teaching KS3, iGCSE and A Level (Chemistry or Biology)
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science
- A commitment to high academic standards and student wellbeing
- The ability to work collaboratively within a supportive department
Preferred
- Experience with the British curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in safeguarding and student welfare
