The Opportunity:
As a Chemistry Teacher (A-Level/CIE), you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to students aged 14-19 following the Cambridge A-Level curriculum. You will support students in achieving academic success and preparing for university applications, while fostering a culture of learning and sharing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach A-Level Chemistry to students, ensuring alignment with the Cambridge curriculum and assessment standards.
- Support students in university applications and guide them in developing academic and personal skills.
- Implement assessment for learning strategies and promote active learning in the classroom.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse academic and English proficiency levels of students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the professional development of the teaching team.
- Participate in teacher training and mentoring activities to enhance the quality of education.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational trends and curriculum changes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in teaching A-Level Chemistry.
- Demonstrated success in improving student learning outcomes.
- Strong understanding of the Cambridge A-Level curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to student-centered and holistic education.
Preferred
- Experience in teacher training or mentoring.
- Familiarity with international education systems and cross-cultural teaching environments.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese.
