Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons across KS3, GCSE, and post-16, including the IB Diploma Programme.
  • Inspire and engage students with a passion for Chemistry and a commitment to outstanding learning outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of an enriched and diverse curriculum.
  • Work collaboratively with a highly motivated and experienced science department.
  • Support students in achieving academic excellence and preparing for future success in higher education.
  • Participate in the ongoing professional development of the department and school.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress effectively, ensuring continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant GCSE and IB or A Level experience in Science/Chemistry.
  • A B.Ed. or degree with a PGCE / PGDE or equivalent, with exceptional subject knowledge in Chemistry.
  • A proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning.
  • A commitment to ensuring all students have the potential to achieve top performance.
  • Experience in contributing to an enriched curriculum programme.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching the IB Diploma Programme.
  • Strong knowledge of modern pedagogical techniques and digital literacy in education.
  • Experience working in an international school environment.
