Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons across KS3, GCSE, and post-16, including the IB Diploma Programme.
- Inspire and engage students with a passion for Chemistry and a commitment to outstanding learning outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of an enriched and diverse curriculum.
- Work collaboratively with a highly motivated and experienced science department.
- Support students in achieving academic excellence and preparing for future success in higher education.
- Participate in the ongoing professional development of the department and school.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Monitor and assess student progress effectively, ensuring continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant GCSE and IB or A Level experience in Science/Chemistry.
- A B.Ed. or degree with a PGCE / PGDE or equivalent, with exceptional subject knowledge in Chemistry.
- A proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning.
- A commitment to ensuring all students have the potential to achieve top performance.
- Experience in contributing to an enriched curriculum programme.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching the IB Diploma Programme.
- Strong knowledge of modern pedagogical techniques and digital literacy in education.
- Experience working in an international school environment.
