Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students across the curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the emotional, social, and academic development of all pupils.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, using data to inform teaching and support individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning across the school.
- Work closely with parents and carers to support student achievement and well-being.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Uphold the school's vision and values, ensuring a consistent and positive ethos is maintained throughout the school community.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS).
- Proven experience in teaching primary school students.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience working in a Church of England school or similar setting.
- Familiarity with the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to support students with diverse learning needs.
