Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students across the curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the emotional, social, and academic development of all pupils.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, using data to inform teaching and support individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning across the school.
  • Work closely with parents and carers to support student achievement and well-being.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Uphold the school's vision and values, ensuring a consistent and positive ethos is maintained throughout the school community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS).
  • Proven experience in teaching primary school students.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a Church of England school or similar setting.
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to support students with diverse learning needs.
