The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Class Teacher to join our Junior School for the 2026-2027 academic year. The role involves teaching a class of approximately 20 students and delivering high-quality education aligned with the English National Curriculum and the International Primary Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum.
  • Create a positive, stimulating, and well-managed classroom environment that promotes effective learning.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including EAL learners and those with additional learning needs.
  • Assess, record, and report on pupils’ progress regularly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and progression in teaching.
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and moral development.
  • Participate in school events, assemblies, and professional development opportunities.
  • Uphold and promote the school’s safeguarding and child protection policies at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A qualified primary/junior class teacher (KS1/KS2).
  • Secure knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to supporting, motivating, and engaging all children.
  • A patient, understanding, and empathetic approach to children and their families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC).
  • E-learning and IT competency.
  • Experience teaching in a British or international school environment.
