Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes student confidence and achievement.
  • Assess and monitor student progress to inform teaching and support individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support student development and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to whole-school initiatives, curriculum development, and staff training.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies and safeguarding procedures.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant teaching experience.
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum planning and delivery.
  • Commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.

Preferred

  • Experience in early years education or primary teaching.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding and behaviour management practices.
  • Experience with curriculum development or whole-school initiatives.
  • Confidence in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
