Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Plan and implement a curriculum that promotes academic excellence and personal development.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure all pupils achieve their full potential.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and collaboration.
- Work closely with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and contribute to the development of the school’s educational strategy.
- Provide pastoral care and support to students, promoting their emotional and social well-being.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and leadership skills.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school policies and statutory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge.
- Experience of teaching in a primary school setting.
- Ability to create and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
Preferred
- Experience in Key Stage 2 teaching.
- Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a subject mentor.
- Experience with inclusive teaching strategies and differentiated instruction.
- Familiarity with the Teachers’ Pension Scheme or Local Government Pension Scheme.
