Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Plan and implement a curriculum that promotes academic excellence and personal development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure all pupils achieve their full potential.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and collaboration.
  • Work closely with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and contribute to the development of the school’s educational strategy.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students, promoting their emotional and social well-being.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and leadership skills.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school policies and statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge.
  • Experience of teaching in a primary school setting.
  • Ability to create and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

Preferred

  • Experience in Key Stage 2 teaching.
  • Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a subject mentor.
  • Experience with inclusive teaching strategies and differentiated instruction.
  • Familiarity with the Teachers’ Pension Scheme or Local Government Pension Scheme.
