Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire student learning and achievement.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages all students to reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support continuous professional development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and events that promote student engagement and school culture.
  • Support the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
  • Reflect on teaching practice and seek feedback to improve outcomes for students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience.
  • Commitment to working with children and promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in classroom management and student engagement.

Preferred

  • Experience with Early Career Teacher (ECT) support programs.
  • Background in delivering inclusive and differentiated teaching strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in student achievement and progress.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to support a maternity cover role.
