The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Cleaner to help maintain a welcoming and professional environment across the school. This role is essential to supporting the well-being of students and staff, and ensuring the school remains a clean and safe place for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and order in all areas of the school
- Ensure high standards of hygiene in classrooms, staff areas, and communal spaces
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
- Work flexible hours within the 3:00pm to 6:00pm window
- Support the school’s commitment to a positive and inclusive environment
- Assist with general tasks as required by the site manager
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is stored correctly and maintained
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in cleaning or related work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work flexible hours within the specified window
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to follow health and safety procedures
Preferred
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting
- Experience with cleaning in a busy environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Experience with the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
