Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school premises.
- Ensure all areas are tidy, safe, and presented to a high standard at all times.
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to meet the school’s expectations.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Work flexible hours including early mornings, daytime, and afternoons as required.
- Support the school’s commitment to a clean and welcoming environment for all.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in cleaning or a similar role.
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and evenings.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Good attention to detail and a clean, professional appearance.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Preferred
- Previous experience in an educational setting.
- Experience with cleaning in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in a school setting.
- Flexibility to work on a part-time, permanent basis with varying shifts.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.83 per hour.
- Part-time, permanent position with various shift options available.
- Pro-rata salary based on term-time hours.
