The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Cleaner to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall success of the school by upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the academy site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of all areas of the academy site.
- Ensure all public and private spaces are kept to a high standard at all times.
- Assist in the management of cleaning schedules and tasks as required.
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate team members.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the site management team.
- Ensure compliance with the school’s policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in cleaning or related roles.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Preferred
- Previous experience in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
