As a Cleaning Assistant, you will ensure that all areas of the school are maintained to a high standard, creating a clean and welcoming environment for students and staff. This is a term-time role with the potential for flexible working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all areas of the school, including classrooms, common areas, and washrooms.
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and report any issues immediately.
- Work within a team to complete cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks during school holidays when required.
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies correctly and responsibly.
- Maintain a tidy and organized work area at all times.
- Communicate effectively with staff and students when necessary.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Previous experience in a cleaning or maintenance role.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and during school holidays.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience working in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
