Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all cleaning operations across the school site.
- Ensure that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of cleaning staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all areas meet the required standards.
- Liaise with other staff and departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Implement and enforce cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Address any maintenance or hygiene issues promptly and effectively.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a cleaning or maintenance environment.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety standards and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience of working in an educational setting is desirable.
Preferred
- Previous experience in a school or similar educational institution.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and techniques.
- Experience with managing a team of staff.
- Understanding of child safety and welfare practices.
