The Opportunity:
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that all school environments are clean, safe, and welcoming. This is a vital position within a growing multi-academy trust, offering the chance to contribute to the success of students and staff across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise cleaning staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures across multiple sites.
- Monitor and report on the performance of cleaning teams and ensure continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with other departments to address any maintenance or cleaning-related issues promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning activities align with the school’s values and mission.
- Support the delivery of a clean and safe environment that enhances the learning experience.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of cleaning standards.
- Provide training and guidance to cleaning staff as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within cleaning or facilities management.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and cleaning protocols.
- Ability to work across multiple sites and manage a team effectively.
