The Opportunity:

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that all school environments are clean, safe, and welcoming. This is a vital position within a growing multi-academy trust, offering the chance to contribute to the success of students and staff across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise cleaning staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures across multiple sites.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of cleaning teams and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with other departments to address any maintenance or cleaning-related issues promptly.
  • Ensure all cleaning activities align with the school’s values and mission.
  • Support the delivery of a clean and safe environment that enhances the learning experience.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of cleaning standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to cleaning staff as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within cleaning or facilities management.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and cleaning protocols.
  • Ability to work across multiple sites and manage a team effectively.

Preferred

  • Experience working within an educational setting or multi-academy trust.
