The Opportunity:
As a Clinical Psychologist, you'll shape the futures of young people by using evidence-based psychological approaches to support their emotional, cognitive, and behavioural development. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments using structured interviews and psychometric tools.
- Design and deliver both group and individual therapeutic interventions.
- Support young people directly through tailored assessments and interventions.
- Guide non-clinical staff in responding to challenging behaviours and communication needs.
- Contribute to the development of staff training programmes.
- Work closely with external professionals and supervise Assistant Psychologists.
- Innovate and make a lasting impact in a dynamic and supportive environment.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic support for students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Doctorate-level clinical qualification in Psychology.
- Registered and accredited with Health & Care Profession Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Experience working with young people with autism and ages 11-16.
- Ability to promote the dignity and individuality of young people by encouraging effective communication and reducing support needs.
- Develop positive professional relationships with young people, parents, families, and colleagues.
- Promote attitudes that value young people with Special Educational Needs as individuals with a right to be treated with respect.
Preferred
- Experience in multidisciplinary and multi-agency working environments.
- Experience with evidence-based psychological interventions.
- Experience in developing and delivering staff training programmes.
- Experience with integrated therapy and support services.

- Competitive salary range from £47,736.00 to £65,270.40.
