The Opportunity:

As a Community Engagement Officer, you will play a vital role in strengthening the connection between students, families, and staff. You will develop and lead community-focused programmes that promote engagement, well-being, and a sense of belonging within a diverse and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies that foster inclusivity and participation.
  • Organise and lead events that bring students, families, and staff together.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Support the development of a welcoming and vibrant school culture.
  • Deliver programmes that promote international-mindedness and student well-being.
  • Collaborate with school teams to enhance community involvement and communication.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on engagement initiatives and their impact.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of school-wide events and activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in community engagement, family liaison, or school outreach programmes
  • Proficient/advanced-level English language skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
  • Demonstrates professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity
  • Inter-cultural awareness and a passion for fostering inclusive school communities

Preferred

  • Background in education, communications, or community engagement
  • Experience with the IB programme
  • Strong initiative and creativity in developing community engagement strategies
