We are seeking a passionate and innovative Computer Science or Design Technology Teacher to join our newly opened and thriving school. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of education and inspire students to achieve their full potential. With state-of-the-art resources such as 3D printers and laser cutters, you will play a key role in developing a dynamic and forward-thinking curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality Computer Science and/or Design & Technology lessons that align with the school's vision and curriculum goals.
  • Inspire and engage students through innovative teaching methods and the use of modern technology.
  • Support students in achieving GCSE and equivalent qualifications while fostering personal development and creativity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement and academic success.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the ongoing development of the school's teaching and learning strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and the leadership team.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and integrate relevant skills and knowledge into the curriculum.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Computer Science or Design & Technology.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and practical lessons.
  • Experience working with neurodiverse or students with learning needs.
  • Commitment to student wellbeing and personal development.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with 3D printing, laser cutting, or other design and technology tools.
  • Background in curriculum development or innovative teaching practices.
  • Experience with inclusive education or differentiated instruction.
  • Familiarity with the Cavendish Education ethos and values.
