Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons that engage and challenge students at all levels
- Develop and implement a curriculum that reflects the latest industry trends and educational standards
- Support students in achieving excellent results at GCSE and A Level through targeted teaching and pastoral care
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the overall learning experience
- Encourage and lead extra-curricular activities that promote a love for technology and programming
- Stay up to date with developments in the field of Computer Science and integrate new ideas into teaching
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students to ensure their academic and personal development
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Computer Science
- Strong knowledge of programming and relevant technologies
- Ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons
- Commitment to student success and professional development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Experience teaching A-Level Computer Science
- Ability to teach a second subject within the faculty
- Experience in delivering extra-curricular activities related to technology
- Familiarity with modern pedagogical approaches in Computer Science
