Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to GCSE and A Level standards.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that support diverse learning needs.
  • Contribute to the development of the school’s mathematics and computing curriculum.
  • Promote student engagement through extra-curricular activities and STEAM initiatives.
  • Support both high-achieving and less able students through differentiated teaching.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
  • Maintain high academic standards and contribute to the school’s excellent results.
  • Participate in the school’s professional development and community outreach programmes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Computer Science at GCSE and A Level.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Passion for teaching and technology.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and support the school’s mission.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and leading extra-curricular programmes.
  • Familiarity with current developments in technology and coding.
  • Experience with STEAM education and interdisciplinary teaching.
