Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the curriculum and school standards.
- Develop and implement high-quality teaching resources with support from the department head.

- Collaborate with support staff and other teachers to enhance student outcomes.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Support students in achieving high academic standards in computer science and IT.
- Stay up to date with developments in the field of computer science and incorporate new ideas into teaching practice.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the institution.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent evidence for overseas-trained teachers.
- Proven experience in teaching computer science or information technology at the appropriate level.
- Strong classroom management and teaching delivery skills.
- Commitment to student success and a passion for inspiring young minds.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
Preferred
- Experience in developing and delivering innovative computer science curricula.
- Familiarity with current industry trends and technologies in computer science.
- Experience with teaching English as a Second Language (ESOL) or working with diverse student groups.
- Previous involvement in professional development initiatives or leadership roles within a school setting.
