Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Computer Science to students across key stages 3-5 using a variety of curricula including Cambridge IGCSE, A-Level, and IB.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that promote student engagement, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Computer Science curriculum.
- Support students through individualized guidance and academic mentorship.
- Participate in departmental meetings, planning, and collaborative teaching initiatives.
- Engage in extra-curricular activities and school events that enhance the learning experience.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements in Computer Science education.
- Provide regular assessments and feedback to ensure student progress and achievement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience teaching Computer Science to students across key stages 3-5.
- A recognized teaching qualification, either local or international.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to student success and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Experience with Cambridge IGCSE, A-Level, or IB Diploma programs is an advantage.
Preferred
- Experience in developing and delivering Computer Science curricula aligned with international standards.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technology integration in the classroom.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
