The Opportunity:

Join a dynamic and experienced Mathematics & ICT department as a Computer Science Teacher (Secondary). Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Computer Science to students across key stages 3-5 using a variety of curricula including Cambridge IGCSE, A-Level, and IB.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that promote student engagement, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Computer Science curriculum.
  • Support students through individualized guidance and academic mentorship.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, planning, and collaborative teaching initiatives.
  • Engage in extra-curricular activities and school events that enhance the learning experience.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements in Computer Science education.
  • Provide regular assessments and feedback to ensure student progress and achievement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience teaching Computer Science to students across key stages 3-5.
  • A recognized teaching qualification, either local or international.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student success and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Experience with Cambridge IGCSE, A-Level, or IB Diploma programs is an advantage.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering Computer Science curricula aligned with international standards.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technology integration in the classroom.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
