The Opportunity:

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Computing and Science
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the development of the curriculum and enrichment activities
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment
  • Participate in school events, parents evenings and CPD opportunities
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the multi-academy trust
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong subject knowledge in Computing and Science
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching across Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3
  • Experience with curriculum development and enrichment activities
  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust
  • Experience with professional development and training initiatives
