Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Computing lessons to students across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
- Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to support students with complex medical needs and educational gaps.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and progress.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure a consistent and effective approach to teaching and learning.
- Provide regular feedback and support to students to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
- Contribute to the wider school community through collaboration and teamwork.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching Computing at KS3, KS4 and KS5
- Commitment to supporting students with complex medical needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
- Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching strategies
- Familiarity with assistive technologies and adaptive learning tools
- Experience in a school or educational setting that supports vulnerable young people
- A passion for using technology to inspire and engage students
