The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate Computing Teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 2 to 5. This role offers the chance to shape young minds through innovative teaching and contribute to a dynamic, inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum.
- Support and assess student progress using innovative teaching strategies and regular assessments.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and risk-taking.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices.
- Participate in co-curricular activities and contribute to the school’s extracurricular programmes.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Experience teaching Computing in KS2 to 5
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a UK or British-curriculum school
- Proven record of student success in international education
- Strong commitment to inquiry-based and student-centred learning
Preferred
- Familiarity with modern pedagogical approaches and assessment strategies
- Experience with curriculum development and professional growth initiatives
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in an international setting
