The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Counselling Lecturer to join our team and deliver high-quality teaching across L2, L3, and L4 Adult Counselling courses. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' lives through face-to-face instruction and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective face-to-face teaching across L2, L3, and L4 Adult Counselling courses.
- Support students in developing essential counselling skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records and assess student progress regularly.
- Participate in curriculum development and contribute to the ongoing improvement of course content.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students, helping them achieve their personal and professional goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Attend relevant training and professional development sessions as required.
- Comply with all institutional policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Minimum Level 2 Maths and English qualification.
- Level 4 or above in a counselling qualification.
- Commitment to working towards a teaching qualification within an appropriate timeframe.
Preferred
- Experience in counselling beyond core training and placement hours.
- Previous teaching or training experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and independently.
