The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons across a range of subjects to ensure student progress and engagement.
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team and department staff to maintain consistent teaching standards.
- Support students in developing the knowledge, understanding, and skills outlined in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document.
- Participate in planning and preparation sessions to ensure effective lesson delivery and curriculum coverage.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Provide pastoral support to students where appropriate.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
- Contribute to the school’s commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant teaching qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience in delivering lessons across a range of subjects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing a high-quality education and student support.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in a school setting, ideally within a secondary school environment.
- Familiarity with the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document.
- Experience with pastoral care or student support.
- Experience with inclusive education practices.
- Demonstrated commitment to equality and diversity.
